Hi - Ex Radio Electronics Officer in the British Merchant Navy - sailed mainly on LPG tankers with the Bibby Line of Liverpool - great days working all the main HF stations especially GKA!! Then worked for a Marine Electronics company out of Falmouth for 5 years before being employed in a government department. Retired in 2011 - bored but then got the ideal job with an another govermnment department in HF radio - now semi-retired, will carry on for a few more years before calling it a day.

Have been licensed since 1994 - never bothered whilst at sea - to much like a busman's holiday. CW only - may try RTTY in the future look forward to working you 73 Geoff
