R. Andrew Odum - Handle = Andy
Andy has been ham since the 1968 when he received his novice ticket in New York as WN2HUB. Within a year he had upgrade to an Advance class license, WA2HUB. He moved to Houston to take a job at the Houston Zoo in 1979 and his call was changed to KE5RU. In 1990 he moved to Ohio where he assumed a herpetologist position at the Toledo Zoo. In 2013 his call was changed to its current KE8RU.
He operates HF, VHF, and UHF.
CW is still one of his favorite modes.
