When doing FT8 or any mode... if there is not a RR73 or 73 from you to complete the QSO I will not be logging it. There are ways to do things and I believe in following it.

Greetings From Richard N7WFK.... I have been a ham since I was 10 yrs old if I remember right. Made my first contacts on 10 meters with my dads old tube radio. I operate a Yaesu FTDX 1200 with a Yaesu FP-1030A power supply. The antennas I use are a GAP Titan DX and a Alpha Delta DX-EE mounted to the side of my house. The microphone I use is a Yaesu MD-100. Headphones I use are RadioSport RS20S to pick out those hard to hear signals. I also run a Yaesu FT-8900R for my 2 meter/70 cm activities. DMR radio I use is a Anytone AT-D878UV Plus. Extremely active on alot of FT8 and FT4. I am very active as well with the VE program with the ARRL.

I love collecting QSL cards, I will send QSL Cards to you if I receive one... no need to send a SASE... I will cover sending you one.

I have Echolink but have yet to connect with anyone using it. Just downloaded and installed it on 7/7/2021 and saw a lot of stations on there. This program as I mentioned is very new to me and I have yet to figure it out.

Served in the US Army for 11 yrs as an Airborne Infantryman. Went to Iraq in 2003 and was medivac'd for injuries. Been retired since 2005 and ham radio is my newest active hobby. I quit doing anything with ham radio when I joined the military in 1993.

That is all that I can think of at the moment... Been married twice and this marriage is approaching 7 yrs. I have 3 boys all grown and out of the home. I have 4 grandchildren from my former marriage of about 17 yrs. I just moved from Washington State to Yukon, Oklahoma.

I log all my QSO's via LoTW, QRZ and eQSL. I also keep backups on other logging programs as well.
