Licensed since 1959 as WN8ZKN in Zanesville, Ohio and then upgraded in 1960 as WA8ZKN in Zanesville, Ohio. Moved to Newark, Ohio in 1961. Active and Resonant on 160, 80, 75, 60, 40, 30, 20, 17, 15, 12, 10, 6, 2, 1.25, 0.70, and 0.23 meter bands. Known Globally and On-the-Air as 'Doc'. Currently working on the QRZ Master of Radio Communications for AFRICA. All modes on 6-meters are utilized, however, it seems that CW, FT8, and MSK144 are the current modes at hand. For CW, the frequency is generally 50.051 MHz. For FT8, f = 50.313 MHz. And, for MSK144, f = 50.260 MHz. Running with 400 watts into an M-squared 6M5XHP Yagi-Uda up one wavelength AGL.
