Bart Davis is a retired attorney living in Southlake, TX USA.  I graduated from the US Air Force Academy in 1974 with a degree in Electrical Engineering.  After graduation, I served 15 years as an Air Force office, first as a C-130 pilot and later as a Judge Advocate (military lawyer).  As a military lawyer, I specialized in government procurement.  In 1989, I accepted a position with a major defense contractor performed where I functioned as in-house counsel until my retirement in 2015.  

I was originally licensed as WA5PAQ (old Technician class) as a teenager, but allowed that license to lapse when I went to college.  I was re-licensed as an Extra Class in 2008 as AE5JD and operated under that license until December 15, 2018 when I secured W5JP as a vanity callsign.  My primary HF rig is an Elecraft K3 with KPA500 and P3 into a Hustler BTV-6 Vertical antenna.
