My name is Ioan Alexandru CHIRU ("ALEX"), 62 years old. I was first licensed as a SWL in 1982 and I've got my callsign YO9FYP in 1992. In 2020, August 24, I obtain my new callsign YO9GR.
I am member to YO DX CLUB # 360, EACW CLUB # 116, NAQCC #9929 and FT8DMC #14819
In HF I work about 90% in CW and more recently in FT8 digital mode. Now I use an Icom IC-7300 and a vertical antenna SIGMA EUROCOM SE-HF-360.
I use Log4OM, probably the best program for QSOs logging for Windows and for contests I use N1MM.
My QSL will be sure via LoTW or via eQSL.cc.
