Antenna I have GAP CHALLENGER 80-2M VERT HALF-WAVE May 2018    Great antenna and very durable - has survived 16 severe storms (65-85 mph winds). Will tune 60m and 17m, even though NOT designed for those bands. Great on 40m & 15m! Periodically outperforms OCFD on 20m and 17m. Usually about 1 s-unit down from OCFD on Rx. Have worked multiple DX entities with this QRP rig and a wire dipole antenna in trees. Also use for 2m SSB at home with Mirage B34G amp and Yagi antenna. Have W4RT OBP mic mod installed, which really boosts the signal punch. Lasts about 20 hrs on a 11Ah LiPO battery pack that will recharge from my Goal Zero Nomad-7 solar panel.
