I started in Ham Radio in 1975 in the Chicago, Ill aera. My firest call was WD9CIB. I am the past President of the Chicago Suburban Rdio Assoction I also was the thery instructor for the CSR sponsored Novice cases Novices with Cordy N9WD. I am so glad that N9 and I had the opportunity to give back to Amteur Radio what it has given us. I moved to the El Paso, Texas aera in 1994 and live in a town 2miles form the boder of Mexico. I use a Kenwood TS950SDX Transcever and Yaesu FL2011B AMP for phone and CW I use a Yaesu FT950 for Digiatl , Amtennas Ground Mounted Vertical Hy-Gain 18VAQ II or a Swiss Dipole or 40meter inverted V up 25ft and a 4 Element Hy-Gain 6M Yagis . ALso have Yaesu FT620B for 6M and a Kenwood TS700S for 2M and Yaesu 901DM and Yaesu FT101E. New 4/15/2018 Added a Kwnwood TS-2000 HF/VHF/UHF All Mode Multi Bander to the Station
