Plunged into electronics world while being a school kid. Further on joined the world of ham radio as an SWL guy and spent there 20 plus years. This year has changed a lot in my ham life. In April 2018 I made a step forward to take CEPT Class B exam and received my ham license and callsign.
At home I am using Yaesu FT1000MP Mark V, an old but reliable and strong transceiver. My favorite bands are 20 and 40 meters SSB. Summer time I am using Yaesu FT450D at my summer house shack. Both rigs are run at their factory power settings with no amplifiers. Home QHT is equipped with - 10-20-40m Bands End-Fed Resonant Antenna elevated to 6,5 meters from the ground to be in a good book with neighbors and wife. Summer house QTH is equipped with 8 Band Off-Center Fed Windom antenna installed as an inverted V with the feeding point elevated on 10m telescopic pole. Seriously thinking of getting something compact qrp and random wire antenna to use while on a walk in the forests with my kids.
Now we also have our club page at www.hf-uhf.eu.
