Amateur radio is an experience that deeply involves you and that every day gives you thrills
and exciting discoveries. Thanks to all those who still live this wonderful "hobby"

During HF activity (FT8, CW, SSB) I'm also QRV on Wires-X C4FM > would you like try to call me on Wires-X ? connect to HB9T room (47052) and make your call. I'm Qrv on the HB9MD-ND (17375) direct linked to HB9T (47052).  If i'm on AIR you can see and check  just down below this page.

Please be careful from 2021 isn't necessary send me paper QSL cards from continental EUROPE. All my QSO are logged on much digital system as QRZ.COM,LoTw, HRDlog.eu, Eqsl, Clublog, QrzCQ... If you need my paper QSL pse send me an email contains QSO data for that QSL it's needed.
TNX for understand that cumulative QSL paper will not found  more place at my shack.

Albert Einstein, when asked to describe radio, replied:"You see, wire telegraph is a kind of a very, very long cat. You pull his tail in New York and his head is meowing in Los Angeles. Do you understand this? And radio operates exactly the same way: you send signals here, they receive them there. The only difference is that there is no cat."

Before start your visit, check  if  I am in your log and don't  forget to confirm our QSO, update your log online frequently as necessary for example LoTweQslHrdLog.net and last but not least Qrz.com because can be useful for the application of different awards. I have add E-Qsl received section. Thank you so much for sharing the ham spirit, HB9FBP :-)

Spring, Sommer, Autumn time, where spend your holiday time? I reccomend Garda Lake (Italy) to Agriturismo ARMEA, visit their website: http://www.agriturismoarmea.it/

Welcome to HB9FBP info-point

Hallo YL, hallo Old Man,
Thanks so much for your visit here, and i would be thrilled if you reach me ON-AIR !
After several years of hiatus (2003-2011), finally I am once again operating in my renewed station.
Location info:  CQ zone 14 - ITU 28 - QRA Locator JN46LA - H26 TI
During my forced stop ON-AIR I received many QSL cards but they have not received a proper answer from me. I apologize for that to all those who await my QSL-Back.
I invite all those who have not yet received my QSL to send their request via e-mail, and i will check on my logbook before I send my reply via bureau  or direct if requested (please with SaSe and sufficient mail coverage).
I believe that QSL is a very important part of QSO, today there are many systems to confirm contacts between amateur radio stations. Wich system do you like you can use but please confirm two way QSO always. SWL QSL are welcome and answer will be guaranteed.

I'm often  40-30-20-17 meters band  and occasionally on 12-15-10, rarely on 6
My preffered mode: CW first !! FT8 using JTDX v2.1.0-rc150 and JTAlert 2.16.5 (possible to send short message online)

Please consider that only completed QSO will be logged and confirmed.

About me and Ham Station

My name is Francesco (Cek),
born in Switzerland in 1968, i live in Lugano. My city count about  67'000 inhabitants and is located in the southern part of Switzerland where the official language is Italian. Not too far from my home there is a beautiful lake where it's possible to spend free time. The city is sourrounded by some mountains from which, once reached the top  we can enjoy an amazing view.
I work for a rescue and fire organisation since 1990. My first hobby is obviously HamRadio followed by cycling and mushroom research.
