The passion for radio was born when I was 8 years old.

My father, a naval mechanic, had brought me a multi-band Philips radio.

At the age of 8 I realized that putting a wire along the radio broadcasts were listening better and I could hear even the most distant ones.

In the eighties the first 34-channel transceiver and with a two-pole antenna managed to connect the few enthusiasts in my city.

Turning with my father in the ports of Italy to visit the ships, my thought was always the radio room, a sensitive place but given my tender age all the officers on board satisfied me.

Needless to say, my schooling could only be electronic and telecommunication. In January 1988, at the age of 19, he left as a sailor aboard a small navy vessel.

Also in this case the radio room was part of my daily life.

Finished military service in 1990 with the rank of Petty officer I met my master Aldo Patria IK6SBE, now silent key, also a Petty officer officer of the navy.

So in 1992 I took the amateur radio license ......... and the passion continues.

My working conditions are:
Kenwood TS450 with vertical Antenna fishing 100W
YAESU 991A with bipolar multi-band antenna 100W
