Greetings! My name is Blake Broussard and I just recently got into amateur radio. I started off by listening on a Baofeng and when I received my technician license I purchased a Yaesu 991A with a Diamond X-50 antenna. I am really enjoying playing around on the 991A and talking on local repeaters here in Missouri. I just received my General license and have been hanging around on 10m as well. I plan on getting an end-fed multi-band wired antenna so I can get on the other HF bands.
A little bit about me: I'm originally from Louisiana. I joined the Marine Corps in 1988, traveled the world, and retired in 2008.
