I’m a very casual operator. I can be found anywhere between 160 and 10 meters. Station consist of, Ten Tec Orion 1, Kenwood TS-950SDX, JRC NRD-535D Receiver. 17 meter half-square antenna and a Gap Challenger DX (vertical dipole), and 135' OCF dipole. Future antenna projects, a Hustler 6-BTV with 17, 12 and 60 meter add-ons, and put up my 2 element 5 band Quad or Hex Beam.

Also running a Kenwood TL-922A amp that has been modified by Don Kessler, KI6SZ of Kessler Engineering. Alpha 76PA amp, and Tokyo Hy-Power HL-1.5KFX Solid State amp. W2IHY EQplus, RCA center channel Pro CS-5 speaker, Heil GM-4 Mic.

I’ve been into radios in one form or another for most of my life. My Father was a TV and Radio (tube type) repairman for the most part of his life, now deceased, so I always had radios to fool around with when I was a kid.
