I go by my middle name, KEVIN
I work in the surgical field

Passed my Tech 1992, General Dec 2009 and Amateur Extra March 2010. Became an ARRL - VE in April 2010. Want to learn code. I have a Signal Electric Spark Gap & Triumph style keys, J-37 "Mae West", J-45, Navy Flameproof, German Junker, Vibrokeyer that I rebuilt, & Begali Simplex Pro to work with for now. Started working with CW Academy and I can't say enough about that program. It's great and if you want to learn code, I highly recommend it.

Since I was a Tech from 1991 until Dec 2009, I had not had much opportunity to get beyond my Yaesu FT-2500 & FT-7400. Picked up a Kenwood TS-590SG in October of 2020 and was previously using an Icom 7200 but will now start to use it to explore portable work. Currently have a doublet antenna with an MFJ-949D tuner to get on the HF Bands but a 50ft tower is in my future. I've been using JS8call, FT-8 and SSB so far.
