I have been a SWL for many years, but, due to continuous overseas travel with work, was never static long enough to gain my licence until recently.
Now I am located permanently again in the UK, I have the opportunity to enjoy radio and my other hobbies of hill walking, camping, orienteering, motorcycling and boating. I also get a chance to combine several of these together, and have recently started SOTA activating.
