I became interested in amatuer radio as a boy scout many years ago.  I served in the US Navy as a Radioman in the early 70's and always intended to get my ham ticket.  I finally decided it was now or never and passed the Techinican class in Feb. 2015, my general in May and Extra Class 1/30/2016.

Right now my equipment consist of 1 Baofeng UV-5R and 1 BF-F8+ handheld,  an Icom D-51A Plus HT, an Alinco 135 2 meter radio an Icom ID-880H and a Icom IC 7300 HF rig and a LDG AT600 ProII tuner.  My antennas consist of a Arrow J Pole for 2 meter and 70 CM and an Eagle 31' Vertical which works on 80 through 6 meters.

I can be found  working PSK-31 and JT65/9 digital modes on 80m, 40, and 20m as well as SSB.
