Hi I've been licensed since 2008, first with the call ZU6ET, then ZR6MRC, after building a receiver, I upgraded to my ZS6SKY unrestricted Call. I like building my own antenna's and first built a 5 band Cobweb antenna to complement my various inverted V setups. the cobweb wasn't very good for voice, but was great for working PSK & ROS and I enjoyed many many DX contacts with my Cobweb, in recent times the bands have gotten worse. In 2014 I build a 4 element mono bander for 10 meters, and it worked great for voice. in September 2016, I built a 4 element mono bander for 15 meters, it gave me the advantage on 15 meters for some voice contacts before the band really got bad, I was also lucky to get some contacts on JT65. My current working conditions include a new mono bander for 20 meters, of course, I built it myself too and an inverted V for 40 & 20 meters I now use a Flex 3000 View my webpage on QRZ.com
