HI. I was first licenced in 1984 as G4XMQ when I was living in Basingstoke Hampshire, eventually moving up to Lincoln and joining The Lincoln Shortwave Club (G5FZ & G6COL) I was contest manager for a while and then chairman.

Whilst in Lincoln I was very active on 23cm and 10ghz ATV and with Bob G7AVU was one on the instigators of GB3VL the Lincoln 23cm ATV Repeater on the central tower of Lincoln Cathedral (unique)

In 2000 myself and my wife Sandra moved to Barnstaple Devon staying three years, I worked for National Express driving coaches and Sandra was a nurse at Barnstaple General. 

In 2003 we moved to Spain (Catalunya) and renovated a small Finca (Farmhouse) and in 2004 we opened a Boarding kennels and Cattery.

For many years I was no longer active but kept in touch with friends via Skype, Echolink and BATC Streaming Media. In 2008/9 I applied for my Spanish callsign EA3EWO but due to the amount of work involved in our new venture was still inactive until just recently.

On the 20th January we moved to the Valencia area to finally retire to a small hamlet called Bodegas del Campo.

I operate HF/VHF/UHF mainly SSTV but also SSB and other digital modes with FT897D/LDG AT-897 100 Watts, Digimaster pro Cat/data controller, Antenna Caralina Windom 80-6 up 27 feet. and 6 Band Hexbeam up 33ft, cushcraft 10 element 2 meter Yagi up 31 ft.

Computers : HP Pavillion 1GB for all Ham software, And HP 8GB Quad4 for general use.
