Hi all here is a little info about me, cheers. Barry

After passing my RAE at Newcastle Collage at the age of 18 years young i moved onto amateur radio from my CB radio days which i still cherish ( i met my wife Beverley after a COPY ) and have never looked down on my friends who stayed on CB.

I became a member of the Hazelrigg (Hazlerigg the true spelling) Amateur radio club where i passed my morse code exam whith the guidence of Ivan G0CNZ, I then moved onto Great Lumley Amateur radio club due to its location to my QTH.

I am sorry to say i lost touch with the hobby due to the lack of intrest and sold all my shack which i had spent a fortune on.

FT-736R,FT-840,FT9600,FT-990,TH78E just to name a few, all good radios that made me happy to own and use. I now own a Yaesu FT-857D which does the job of HF,VHF & UHF ( a shack in a box ) also i have the FC-30 atu.

I own a Icom IC-7100 (shack) Yaesu VX-7R (handie) , Yaesu FT-8100 (mobile) Icom IC-207H and a Yaesu FT-847 (second shack) also x 2 tri band (Sharman w2000) 6,2m/70cms antennas along with my Oscar Trap homemade G5RV.
