I was first licensed as a Technician in September of 2010 as KF7LUA, shortly after I upgraded to the General class in November of 2010. A few years later in March of 2014 I earned my Amateur Extra. Still learning and enjoying the new hobby at the same time.
My equipment is a Yaesu FT-450D with a LDG Z11Pro2 Tuner with a Heil HM-12 mic with boom. My antennas are a SteppIR 2ele 20-6, and a resonant 2 wire fan Dipole for 80 & 40 halfwave.
My favorite bands are 10, 15, and 80. I frequent the IRLP 9109 reflector, and am the owner of the IRLP Node 7762.

MY QSL POLICY
QSL cards are an integral part of ham radio. Even with all the electronic methods of QSLing, I still prefer to "chase paper" - to me, QSL cards are like baseball cards - I like to pull them out and look at them from time to time.
-If you need my state, county, etc., send me a card with or without an SASE - I will QSL 100%
-I also eQSL. I do not send eQSLs to everyone I talk to, but I will confirm our QSO via eQsl upon ?direct email request.
-All contacts with me are uploaded to Log Book of the World in UTC date and time.
-Please email me if you have sent a QSL card and have not received one back from me.
-I have moved to Anchorage, Alaska, but will still direct QSL our Idaho QSO(KF7LUA) if you are in ?my log from my time in Idaho. Please direct to:5901 E. 6th Ave SP 18 Anchorage Alaska 99504 for both Idaho and Alaska QSOs.
