Peter has been licensed since 1954 and has been active continuously through the years. Initially, he built radios from kits except receivers, and designed his own amplifiers. Most activity has been on CW and contesting activities.
During 1984, packet radio caused a sensation, and Peter built up an extensive packet radio network and then established Internet connectivity. This technology influenced his interest in building a company around packet technology in 1989. Today, he started the largest Wirless ISP in southeastern Massachusetts and developed technology to bring Internet to a system of ferry boats traveling in a large geographical area.
Today, he easily blends both ham radio and professional work to try new ways of digital and microwave communication.
